They noted that even moderately skilled players could achieve success with her, indicating a potential imbalance that could detract from the overall gameplay experience.
“The cards for discarding and early damage that Silent possesses are far too powerful,” JapaneseExport asserted. “With any good damage card, I can bypass most rewards and still do well.”
Silent’s abilities, particularly one known as Sly, allow players to automatically play discarded cards, creating an overly dominant strategy. This limits players’ options and leads to repetitive gameplay mechanics, hindering diversity in strategy and approaches during runs.
“This character’s capabilities need adjustment to encourage a broader range of strategies,” JapaneseExport highlighted. “Most of my runs feel predictably similar, and features from the first game that simplify many encounters are still present.”
